The Swedish crime series about a tough Gothenburg cop opens with protagonist Falk responding to the robbery of a jewelry store. Johan is a two-fisted Göteborg cop who finds himself in a shoot-out with jewel robbers. After the smoke has cleared, one robber, shot by his accomplice, and an innocent bystander, are dead. The Johan Falk series is is full of great action and noticeable tension. Jakob Eklund reminds me a bit of a younger Harrison Ford. This series is different than many others in that it really moves along, with no weakness's to speak of. It also has great production values.
